Creative Scores Hole-In-One with Renovation of Golf Channel Headquarters
Tampa sign company, Creative Sign Designs, completes design/build sign package for Golf Channel American headquarters in Orlando
Orlando, Fla. (September 2011) – In early 1990, cable-entrepreneur Joseph E. Gibbs began his quest to launch a 24-hour golf network. Golf Channel was launched on January 17, 1995, and was the first fully digital production facility in the United States.
Today, Golf Channel’s American headquarters reside in one of the top golf-destinations, Orlando, Florida. When Golf Channel decided to do a complete renovation of the headquarters building, their corporate development team partnered with the Tampa Chamber’s Small Business of the Year, Creative Sign Designs, to execute true design/build services for the complete sign package.
Creative’s talented team of consultants, designers, project managers, fabricators, and installers implemented a completely new interior sign system for the Orlando facility. The interior sign component includes 3-dimensional logo displays and custom-branded office/workstation sign wall plaques.
A new set of exterior signs – strategically placed around the campus – proudly display the company’s strong brand. Internally illuminated fascia logos, a custom monument sign, 3-dimensional logos placed atop their 40-foot towers, and a fresh set of fully-branded directional signs round out the successful project.
Other corporate projects from Creative Sign Designs include Coors Light, AirTran, USAmeriBank, Raymond James, WellCare, PBSJ, GulfShore Bank, and numerous car dealerships such as Toyota, Honda, BMW, Kia, GM, Mini, and Lamborghini.
Golf Channel is part of the Comcast-NBC Universal Programming Group which also includes E! Entertainment Television, Style Network, VERSUS, G4, PBS KIDS Sprout, TV One and ten Comcast SportsNet networks.
