The new Salvador Dali Museum will be one of the most unique exhibition spaces in the world as it is inspired by one of the most unique personalities and artists in world history. Our challenge on this outdoor commercial sign project was to work with the project architects and contractors to design exterior business signs that weren’t a sign – but a signature! We designed and fabricated the artist’s actual signature recessed into a wall section 30 feet above the parking lot. The Dali construction team relied heavily on our ability to engineer and design the mold that would be recessed into concrete and then removed leaving the imprint in the building. Our turnkey process for creating premiere commercial building signs provided for unique questions to be answered quickly among the team, and avoid any unforeseen material or installation delays in delivering this concept into a tangible reality.
