Randal Park

Designed and constructed by Dix Lathrop and Associates, Randal Park’s community of eco-friendly, energy-efficient homes – built by two of America’s most-respected homebuilders, M/I Homes and David Weekley Homes – is surrounded by some of Orlando’s best schools, shopping, and entertainment venues. In addition, Randal Park residents can complete their education from kindergarten to an associate’s degree all within about five miles of the community. In August 2013, Orange County Public Schools will open a new elementary school in the community.
Creative Sign Designs partnered with Seminole Masonry and Dix Lathrop to create unique entryway signs for the brand new residential community. The most challenging aspect of the project was to satisfy the client’s request for a distinctive sign that would catch the eye of potential buyers as development continues over the next few years.
Seminole Masonry and Creative collaborated to provide the client with a one-of-a-kind solution: three CORTEN steel and aluminum signs mounted onto Florida Field Rock wall. Two of the custom outdoor entryway signs measure 20 feet in length, while the third entrance sign – viewable from the highway – measures 30 feet in length. All three exterior entrance signs are illuminated with LEDs to deliver a sophisticated glow in the evening hours.
Randal Park includes eight neighborhood parks covering over 300 acres of preserved Florida wilderness and a community center featuring a large resort pool and patio, wide lawns, and an open pavilion where residents can host birthday parties, take yoga classes, or meet up for book cub meetings.
