Commitment to the Environment

Creative Sign Designs' environmental responsibility is reflected in the way it conducts business. We are very conscious of the impact we have on the environment.  We take measures across our network to minimize that impact whenever possible - both in manufacturing eco friendly signs and in day-to-day business operations.

We are continuously researching new materials and processes to improve on our ability to create environmentally friendly signs.  As a partner in sustainability, Creative Sign Designs shares our experiences and insight to help clients pursue their own green goals and initiatives.

We take an active role at the corporate level to ensure that our actions are environmentally sound.  The company is dedicated to finding and implementing new technologies to continue to reduce waste and streamline processes.  Some examples of our initiatives include:

  • Elimination of stocked, printed marketing and sales materials to prevent over-printing and needless paper waste.
  • Development of electronic marketing and sales brochures and materials to enable electronic distribution of communications. This not only saves paper, but reduces the carbon footprint involved in shipping and distribution.
  • Active, company-wide recycling program for aluminum, paper, glass, steel and plastics in office and manufacturing facilities.

Eco Friendly Signs

Creative Sign Designs creates environmentally friendly signs that are beneficial to both the client and the environment.

  • Use of durable materials ensures that products are long lasting and that customers do not need to replace them frequently.
  • Use of modular construction enables customers to extend or repair signage systems with ease.  The components easily disassemble, which means they can be recycled rather than be disposed when permanent changes are required.
  • Products made in the USA.  We try to make everything at our Tampa, Florida facility.  Where possible, materials are sourced from local suppliers. 
  • Use of responsible suppliers – Creative Sign Designs is careful to select responsible suppliers that match a high level of commitment to environmentally safe working practices.
  • Use of recyclable aluminum components wherever possible.
  • Use of laser printed paper graphic inserts in interior signage products, allowing the client to use recycled paper and update signs in-house.
  • Use of Light-Emitting Diode (LED) signage which are 85 percent more efficient than signage with neon lights.
  • Use of sustainable ADA signage which feature nontoxic biopolymers, with none of the harmful byproducts of traditional photopolymer processing, these signs are far more energy and water efficient and contain up to 40 percent recycled material.
