Waterset
Creative Sign Designs has been a long-term partner with Newland Communities on projects like FishHawk Ranch, Westchase, and MiraBay. After years of sitting at a standstill, Newland Communities began building again in its newest Apollo Beach addition: Waterset. Creative Sign Designs is assisting with the design, fabrication, and installation of custom street sign and mailbox packages for Phase 1, providing direction to 214 future homes.
A central area for Apollo Beach and within close proximity to Tampa Bay, Waterset will include prominent lakes and water elements, an amenity center and café, schools, townhomes, and limited commercial space. The first eight phases will include about 3,800 homes; the remaining land holds enough room for up to 6,700 homes. Waterset is set to be the largest community of its kind in the country.
Creative’s street signs adhere to the Federal Guidelines set forth by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) code. Street signs are fabricated to meet the following requirements: minimum reflectivity grade, high-intensity prismatic grade, standard font type and copy heights, and both upper- and lowercase copy. Their street sign faces are inserted into decorative cast aluminum frames and mounted to fluted poles. The custom components are then powder-coated architectural colors.
